Changing Tourism is a travel TV series created to tell stories that would otherwise remain untold. The purpose of the tv series is to shed light on the influence that the Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) culture has had on different countries. It will showcase BIPOC- owned businesses, diverse artists, and highlight restaurants, shops and fun adventures to visit when you go.

Who is Stephanie James?
Stephanie James, known online as “Just A Vessel”, is a poet, singer, TV host and founder of Changing Tourism - a new travel TV series that highlights Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) around the world. Originally from Colorado Springs, Stephanie graduated summa cum laude from Hampton University.
Poet and Traveller
She has released a book of poetry (2012) and produced multiple albums of poetry and songs (2014 & 2016). Stephanie is a world traveler and international artist who has lived in or traveled to over 40 countries.
Sharing stories from around the world
Her perspective as a global traveller focusing on BIPOC communities and entrepreneurship in minority populations sets her apart from other travel show hosts. Stephanie gathers stories from abroad to bring disparate people together around the world.
